Press Release

Freightliner Trucks, a division of Daimler Truck North America LLC (DTNA), today unveiled the new eCascadia at ACT Expo in Long Beach, CA. Built on the best-selling heavy-duty truck platform in North America, the new battery electric Freightliner eCascadia provides customers with a zero-emission version of the industry-leading Cascadia and debuts its innovative safety and connectivity features.

The Freightliner eCascadia is an electric semi-truck manufactured by Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), a division of Daimler AG. The eCascadia is powered by a battery electric drivetrain and is designed for long-haul transportation applications. It has a range of up to 250 miles per charge and can be recharged using DC fast charging or overnight at a depot. The eCascadia is part of Freightliner's push into the growing electric truck market, which is driven by increasing demand for sustainable transportation solutions and stricter emissions regulations.
