A Semantic MediaWiki is a powerful tool for building and managing a knowledge base from large amounts of unstructured data. Starting with the projects compiled by the <a href="https://www.nist.gov/"> National Institute of Standards and Technology</a> (NIST) <a href="https://www.nist.gov/ctl/smart-connected-systems-division/iot-devices-and-infrastructure-group/smart-americaglobal-0"> Global City Teams Challenge</a> (GCTC) OpenCommons is building custom forms and templates for entering data, making it easier for project contributors to add information and ensuring that data is consistent and standardised. We encourage you to join this effort by <a href="https://opencommons.org/Special:RequestAccount"> requesting an account</a> and sharing projects you believe provide lessons to others deploying technology in their community.
