Best Practices
This group is for people who have attended, participated in of plan to attend Greater Portland best practices trips. Past attendees have included public officials, both elected and support managers, business leaders, non-profit leaders, and education professionals. All are welcome, and Greater Portland champions are encouraged to participate.

On October 24th, a 50+ person delegation from the Portland region traveled to Detroit for its annual Best Practices trip. Detroit is engaged in a multi-faceted, complex plan to reinvent itself. During the trip, delegates examined the challenges, issues, and opportunities facing Detroit.
