Green Europe, in cooperation with the Green Week
October 19 @ 5:30 am – October 22 @ 11:30 am UTC
The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to regional policy.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the related health and safety measures, the majority of the 500 sessions will be fully in digital format. Among the exceptions are key events and workshops requiring interpretation, which are going to be organized in a hybrid format (online with a limited physical presence). Some events such as exhibitions and regional tastings can be either digital or physical.
This year, the European Week of Regions and Cities will be spread over three consecutive weeks in October, each dedicated to one specific topic:
- 5-9 October: Empowering Citizens,
- 12-16 October: Cohesion and cooperation,
- 19-22 October: Green Europe, in cooperation with the Green Week.
Particularly relevant on digitalisation of cities, regions and all communities will be two sessions during the third week (19-22/10, date/time to be confirmed):
- Digital twins of cities
- Digital services for Sustainable and Smart cities: Join, Boost, Sustain Declaration & Living-in.eu movement
